Daddy will think I'm Mickey Mouse
Friday night I decided to put together the favors for Talan's Baptism....Trey decided he wanted to help (of course) so I let him play with my circle paper punch for scrapbooking and some scrap paper. Who would have thought he would be so amazed and thrilled with it! He thought it was the coolest thing ever...
Here is my finished product....

Baptism Pictures

We took Talan to picture people to get his Baptism pictures taken on Saturday....I requested that a manager do his photo shoot this time since we've had such bad luck the last 2 times. I always intend to go in there and only buy 1 or 2 sheets (since they are pretty pricey) but it's always so hard to choose. I have to really be disciplined so I don't walk out of there spending a small fortune every time. They turned out really cute and of course we couldn't get a good one of him smiling....then when we came back to pay, the same guy who took the pictures helped check me out at the register and Talan was just talking and laughing away! The guy was like, "oh now you smile huh?" And I was like, "yeah tell me about it!". Wednesday, November 12, 2008

AFTER.......
"EO5"

time for cereal
- Length 26" (75-90th percentile)
- Weight 14 lbs 12 oz. (25-50th percentile)
- Head circumference 43 (50-75th percentile)...we always new he had a big head, even on the ultrasounds when I was pregnant. the reason my doctor thought my due date kept moving forward was because of his head and his legs.
The doctor said we can start feeding Talan rice cereal now...how fun! So we tried it for the first time last night. It wasn't as messy as I thought but I think it's because Talan is just so mellow and not too squirmy.
I realized last night that this is Talan's first time wearing a bib. What's the big deal about that some may ask? For those of you who don't remember....when Trey was a baby he went through about 10 bibs a day from the very beginning (no exaggeration) because of his reflux!!! I used to get upset because he ALWAYS had to have a bib on and you could never see his cute outfits! I just thought that was kinda funny...it's so hard not to compare every little thing about the boys...even wearing bibs!!!
You are probably wondering what I have done to this poor baby's face...he does it to himself but this is probably the worst. I have to cut his nails every 2 or 3 days and this still happens. Notice the little cuts are even in his ear...Sheesh!
