Trey's 5th Birthday

For Trey's 5th birthday he wanted to go visit his friend "John Paul" in Phoenix. John Paul used to live down the street from us here in Corona but he and his family moved back to Phoenix a few months ago. Even though John Paul is a few years older than Trey, the two of them have the cutest bond you have ever seen! They are like brothers....really! Trey adores him and vise versa. So now you can understand why Trey was so excited to spend his 5th birthday with his friend John Paul...and a batman bounce house.... Talan also had fun in the bounce house.... We also rented a snow cone machine and a spin art game...here are the kids (Trey, John Paul and Jackson, Gina's nephew) making their first spin art designs...

The boys started doing a few "tricks" in the bounce house...Trey would climb up and sit in the basketball hoop...Then they would run, jump and climb on the front of the bounce house to make it collapse in the front....boys will be boys! :)When the sun finally went down, I found the boys outside playing their DSi's in the bounce house.
Then they came inside...apparently with REALLY BIG appetites from jumping all day...

Trey ate more than I've seen him eat in a long time!!!Then we sang Happy Birthday...I ordered these cute personalized cupcake sticks from etsy...they turned out sooo cute!
After cupcakes, Trey opened his presents...Trey and John Paul are equally excited about this one...We went to sleep and woke up the next day to celebrate again...since Sunday was Trey's actual birthday. Gina bought him a cake and Alana decorated it (so cute)...

Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning

On Christmas Eve, Trey helped bake cookies for Santa....I let Trey decorate some sugar cookies all by himself. I got him all set up and walked away to let him do it.....this is what I came back to...YUM!!! And the worst part is that he wanted to leave one of these cookies for Santa! Too much icing to eat...thank goodness Susan ate this one! Here is a picture that I LOVE of the boys in their elf hats (that Tia brought them). I named Talan "Stinky the Elf" and Trey named himself "Curly the Elf".
Here are some more random pictures from Christmas Eve (since I'm so behind with my blogging, this is what you're gonna get...pictures without alot of descriptions).Zoe posing in front of the tree.Susan and I with the elf hats on...Here is a great picture of the boys with Nana before they went to bed...and here they are fast asleep in bed...
And then Santa came...Javi wanted to put wrapping paper up so in the morning Trey couldn't see all the presents until we got up...I video taped him breaking through the paper...very cute!
So now that I downloaded my Christmas pictures, I feel so terrible! These are the only pictures I took on Christmas! We all had a terrible stomach virus that started with Susan, Trey and Maria. Unfortunately, Javi and I both woke up around 4 am Christmas morning VERY sick! So I wasn't as into Christmas morning as I would have liked to be! Talan wasn't feeling good either so he didn't want to open any of his presents. We had to open them all for him. Trey was really cute and dramatic though....he kept saying "OH WOW!!!". I did get some good videos of Trey's reaction when he opened his presents with our video camera though....
We had a great Christmas...and I hope everyone else did too! :)

lovin' the crocs

In the past couple of weeks, Talan has become OBSESSED with his Crocs!!! He wants to have them on 24/7...literally! He gets mad when I try to take them off when I lay him down for a nap or to go to bed at night....so I have to put him to sleep with them on and wait until he falls asleep to go in his room and try to quietly and gently take them off without waking him up! I have to admit, there's been a few nights that I have forgotten and he has slept all night in his shoes...poor baby!
I know I am way behind with my blogging, I am hoping to get all caught up over the weekend!
