I just wanted to share some more pictures we took of Talan today. We are both doing really good. I feel great and he is doing great too. We will probably go home tomorrow unless there are any signs of him having jaundice...in that case we will stay until Tuesday. They did a billiruben test today and they will do another one tomorrow to compare. The doctor is only concerned because of my concerns. Apparently Talan has 3 strikes against him for developing it. 1) He is technically premature since he was born at 36 weeks so his liver isn't fully develpoed. 2) He had a huge bruise on the whole left side of his face from either being pushed up against something inside me or from the vaccum they used to pull him out. 3) Because I have negative blood type and he is postive puts him at a higher risk also. He is starting to look a slight bit yellow to me and Javi around his nose. So the test tomorrow morning will tell us if his numbers are increasing which means he has jaundice. I'll keep you posted!
Trey is so cute with Talan. He just wants to hold and kiss him all the time and talks to him in this really cute voice. It's so cute to listen to. He is really so happy and proud to be a big brother. Today Talan looks so much to me like Trey did as a baby.
