On Saturday when Javi got home from work, Trey colored Easter eggs. It gets more fun each year since he can do most of it by himself now.

Sunday morning the boys woke up and opened their Easter baskets....Trey was excited about all of his stuff but a little disappointed that the Easter Bunny didn't leave him a real bunny....thank god he didn't! We told him that he was too little to take care of one so that's why the Easter Bunny didn't leave him a pet bunny.
We spent the day at the park with Susan, Ashley, Curtis and all of his family...the boys had fun running around! Then we came home to have dinner with our neighbors at 5:00. J made ribs, Garth made a ham and I made all the sides. I was bad about taking pictures of our Easter day events can you tell? Oops...bad mom! We were supposed to do an egg hunt at the park but didn't....so after we came inside from dinner and cleaned up, Javi hid eggs in the house for Trey to find. He had a BLAST!!!! After he found all of the eggs and opened them up to see his prizes (he would shake the eggs and say "oh this one just has candy in it" then he'd shake another one and all excited he would say "this one has money in it" he knew the difference in the sounds). After that, he wanted to hide eggs for us. We played for about an hour taking turns hiding the eggs from each other! It was really cute and fun! Trey woke up this morning and asked if we could hide eggs again....
