a fun filled nickelodeon day

We spent all day Saturday at Gina's hotel (JW Starr Pass Marriott) they are doing a Nickelodeon themed thing there this summer and yesterday was the Inauguration. We had breakfast with the characters (Sponge Bob and Dora) at 8 a.m. Trey was so excited to see them...can you tell by the huge "CHEESY" grin on his face! Then we headed out to the pool around 9 am. Gina and I sat by the pools all day with the kids while Javi and Pablo played golf.

They have this really cool Lazy River with tubes that you can use to float around with jets that push you around the pool.

In the background you can see the golf course. Trey didn't like the lazy river bc he was afraid of the little fountain that shot water over the pool. He can be kinda weird about stuff sometimes

That little spraying fountain on the left was the only one on the whole lazy river and that's what he was scared of.They also had this cool slide. Trey liked the slide.....until he came down and another little girl came down behind him and landed right on top of him (because he took too long to swim out of the way) and pushed him under water a little bit! After this he was totally done with the lazy river and the slide...he wanted to go back to the regular pool. Poor John Paul just wanted to spend the whole day going around the lazy river and going down the slide.

Later in the afternoon they did some Nickelodeon games and some of the kids that participated got "SLIMED"...Trey and John Paul watched but didn't want to play the games.

Talan has a blast too! I took him in the pool for a little bit and of course he loved it! Here he is enjoying the pineapple from my pina colada. He gets so mad and DEMANDS any food or drink he sees you eating!!!He took 2 short naps in his stroller...his first nap... and his second nap....
After spending all day in the sun...we left to pick Ryan up from the airport at 4PM...then we came home to get ready for Javi's party! I so wished I could join Talan and take a little nap!!!
